Our Tangled Life
Welcome to the Family! While this website is focused more on Cayley's business of Wig Design, Our Tangled life embodies so much more of our story. We started this business to share our story of being Newley weds and moving to Florida from Arizona. Scroll down to learn a bit more about who we are.
Ethan and Cayley
Ethan was born and raised in Arizona where he began training in the mixed martial arts form of Kajukenbo. He spends his time teaching youth and adults the importance of self defense and exercise.
Cayley was born is Missouri and moved with her family to Arizona after her freshman year of high school. She has always had a passion for performing arts and loves all aspects of theatre.
Ethan and Cayley first met at target but got to know each other though church and school events. the happy couple was married in the Phoenix, Arizona Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple, on December 18th, 2020.
They have a dog named Twinkie and love going to the beach, playing board games and exploring their new state.
Disney College Program
In the winter of 2020 Cayley applied and was accepted into the Disney College program. Her role was to be a Fairy Godmother at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique beginning in August of 2020. Sadly the program was canceled due to COVID. However, in the summer of 2021 Disney re-opened and brought back their program. Cayley was accepted again and had three roles while on her program which lasted from July 14th, 2021 to January 26th, 2022. The roles were Skyliner, Epcot merchandise and Epcot parking. She loved ever second of her program and made so many wonderful friends.
Medical Journey
While Ethan remains fit as a fiddle, Cayley has had some ups and downs in her medical journey. Since birth Cayley has dealt with a number of medical conditions that baffle doctors. Some days she is fine like on the left picture and some days can be pretty rough like the right picture. While she has no set diagnosis for any of her medical conditions, she finds comfort in church, family and friends.
Battling any type of medical condition can feel hard and lonely. Cayley openly shares her journey in the hopes she can remind others they are not alone and to not hide from who they truly are. If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask or share your story.
